About NBN Infusions
More than 25 years ago, NBN Group was founded upon the principal of delivering best-of-class service to underserved areas of the healthcare sector. Our initial offering was Newborn Nurses that provided home-based healthcare for some of the most overlooked people in our population – babies and moms.
As Newborn Nurses grew, it became obvious that our compassionate caring combined with absolute reliability and attention to detail were what attracted people most. These qualities distinguished us from everyone else and became our claim to fame. People gravitated to us for our standard of service.
In 1990, we extended that service model to a new division, NBN Infusions, Inc. Our determination to meet our clients’ needs was expanded into providing timely delivery of high-quality home infusion, medical products, equipment and supplies. Now our patients could make a single call to get their health needs completely met. More importantly, the service was instilled with the same standards for reliability and attention to detail that defined our nursing staff.
We built a clean room and hired the most talented pharmacy staff possible to prepare our mixtures with precision and care. It was a challenge to meet a wide array of diverse requirements at first, but our quality systems kept us on track and on schedule. Soon, people encouraged us to deliver the same services to the region’s elderly population who had difficulty dealing with several services to meet their wide-ranging requirements. Our elder care services flourished just as the others had, because it was the dedication to excellence people wanted most.
Now we’re developing our mission of customized care to benefit hospital systems across the region. Naturally we meet USP <797> requirements for quality, but that’s just a first step. Our reason for existence is and always has been the ability to respond quickly and with absolute accuracy and reliability.
